Overview

We are seeking a full-time, permanent position for our tax practice.

A day in the life of a Tax Administrative Assistant:

You will be responsible for supporting the department’s administrative activities:

  • Manage and coordinate the billing process and prepare invoices;
  • Manage and prepare engagement letters;
  • Reviewing and finalizing various documents;
  • Opening and maintaining clients files;
  • Generating reports in Deltek;
  • Managing expense reimbursements;
  • Involvement in the management for internal training;
  • Coordinating communications; and
  • Any other related tasks.

Your qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in administration or similar relevant work experience required;
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, professional services environment;
  • French is a must, English is considered an asset;
  • Experience in a professional service firm an asset;
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Experience in Deltek is an asset;
  • Strong typing and organizational skills;
  • Detail-oriented and critical thinking a must;
  • Ability to prioritize work in order to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and with frequent interruptions;
  • Must be able to work efficiently in a team environment with a positive and collaborative attitude;
  • Must be able to demonstrate initiative and proactivity;
  • Accountable for the quality and timely completion of work assigned;
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required;
  • Document management skills an asset;
  • SharePoint knowledge is an asset.
